Contacting Raw

Today, I finally mustered up the courage to contact Raw via phone. I spoke to their Studio Manager
and asked if I could come in for a chat, she said for me to contact Tom by his email.

Which I did:

Hey Tom,

Hope you enjoyed your Easter weekend. I've been an admirer of Raw's work for quite some time now, with the George Best style guide standing out as one of my many favourites. The stitching and stylish layout makes for a very beautiful end product. I'm currently in my third year studying Graphic Design at Leeds College of Art and visiting Manchester next week for a number of studio visits. I would love to pop into the studio (at your convenience of course) for a short chat if thats okay? Heres a link to my current website which will be updated as I progress throughout my FMP. cargocollective.com/simonpetercherry

Best Regards,

Simon Cherry

He replied a few days after:

Afternoon Simon,

It was lovely thanks—now just a distant memory.
I'm afraid the studio is extremely busy at the moment so it's not really convenient.
I've had a look at your portfolio site and you've got some really interesting work. Pity we're so stacked as it would've been nice to meet you. I wish you all the best.

 Thanks, Tom

I responded with this:

Hey Tom, No worries. Thanks for the kind words. I'm in Manchester quite often, so if you ever have a minute free, I'd love to pop in sometime soon.

Cheers, Simon

I hope to visit the studio one day. But this is just another contact to add onto the list.
